TIM BROWN

Tim Brown's aviation career started as a CAP cadet growing up in Lewisville, TX. Tim set his goals on the Air Force Academy and graduated in 2005 with a major in Astronautical Engineering and a minor in Russian. Tim earned his wings in the T-37B and T-38A at Sheppard AFB, TX. Tim went on to become a B-52 aircraft commander and a T-6 Texan II IP. The highlight of Tim's active-duty flying career was flying a B-52 over the North Pole and landing in Moscow for an air show in 2011. Tim transitioned to the Reserves in 2015 and continues to serve in the same role today as a liaison officer with the Civil Air Patrol, where he began his aviation career. Tim is one of a handful of Reservists nationwide on flying status with the USAF to fly CAP planes.

Tim Brown regularly flies a T-33, which belonged to the Arizona Aviation Historical Group. He is also a part-owner of a De Havilland Vampire. He brings a unique background in aviation and engineering to the team and is extremely excited to be part of a select group of T-37 pilots who will return these planes back to the sky.
